The OPPO Find X7 series will feature the Sony LYT-900 as its main camera, utilizing a 1-inch sensor for enhanced light capture and dynamic range.
According to OPPO's Weibo post, the Sony LYT-900 sensor integrated into the future Find X7 series will include an "advanced process," greater photosensitivity, purity, and a wider dynamic range. These developments are highlighted by the firm as significant characteristics of the camera system.
Due to its stacked CMOS technology, Sony's LYT-900, a 1-inch sensor with a 50MP resolution and 1.6m individual pixels, is likely to increase low-light photography features in the next OPPO Find X7 series.
According to rumors, the forthcoming OPPO flagship and Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a Sony sensor, revealing further details about the Find X7 series.
Specifications for the OPPO Find X7 series (to be expected)
The OPPO Find X7 series will command two models the OPPO Find X7 and the OPPO Find X7 Ultra, both of which will lack a Pro version. The Find X7 Ultra has an improved camera system that includes a 50MP Sony LYT- 900 detector, an ultrawide lens, and a 50MP Sony IMX890 3x optic periscope drone lens.
Both versions are expected to include high-resolution photos and variable zoom, as well as a 32 MP front-facing camera.
The OPPO Find X7 Ultra will include a 2K curved display with high-frequency PWM dimming, which will provide a visually immersive experience. It will operate on ColorOS, OPPO's own Android-based operating system based on Android 14.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is believed to power the OPPO Find X7 Ultra, while the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor will power the basic Find X7. The Ultra variant also offers fast charging with 100W wired and 50W wireless, making it ideal for those who value convenience.
