The rumours were accurate because this information was directly provided by Poco India via its official Twitter account. Not only that, but the image that was leaked and that we previously shared with you is the one that is actually being used to announce the unveiling date and time.

In addition to the new phone itself, Hardik Pandya, a well-known Indian cricketer, is the headliner of the show. Concerning two weeks ago, when he was seen using the as-yet-unreleased phone to make a call, information about his connection with the Poco X5 Pro launch was first revealed.

Poco X5 Pro Specifications

According to previous speculations and leaks, the Snapdragon 778G processor and either 6/128GB or 8/256GB of RAM/storage should power the X5 Pro. There is reportedly a 6.67" AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080x2400, a 108 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro camera on either side, and a 16 MP selfie camera on the front.

According to reports, the Poco X5 Pro boasts a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 67W cable charging (but not wireless charging) and runs MIUI 14 on top of Android 12. Stay tuned as we'll be validating (or disproving) these specifications in less than a week.
