Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC: Affordable 5G with Enhanced Features

Qualcomm has unveiled the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC, designed for entry-level Android phones. This chip includes two Cortex-A78 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, with a max clock speed of 2GHz. Built on Samsung's 4nm process, it supports LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The integrated 5G modem offers download speeds up to 1GHz. Additional features include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and Quick Charge 4+ support. The chipset also supports FHD+ displays, up to 108MP camera, and 60FPS video recording. The first phones featuring this SoC are expected by year's end.
