Last week, the Realme GT 7 was launched in China and is now said to be launched soon in Indian markets. The Chinese smartphone brand has teased its India launch via social media handles by highlighting its gaming prowess. The Realme GT 7 is confirmed to provide up to 6 hours of BGMI gameplay at high fps. The smartphone is rumored to join its more powerful sibling, the Realme GT 7 Pro.
Realme India has announced that the GT 7 smartphone will soon be launched in India. The handset is said to be co-tested with Krafton, the developer behind the popular online multiplayer battle royale game Battlegrounds Mobile India. Similar to the Realme GT 7 Pro, which was launched in November 2024, the upcoming Realme smartphone is expected to have capable gaming-focused specifications.
The shared image confirms that the phone will deliver up to 120 fps BGMI gameplay for up to 6 hours. The India-spec GT 7 will likely have similar specifications to its Chinese counterpart, with minor internal changes, such as the battery capacity.
The Chinese variant of the Realme GT 7 features a 6.78-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 6500 nits of peak brightness, a 2600Hz instant touch sampling rate, a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and a 4608 Hz dimming rate. The handset features a 3nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage. The smartphone ships with the Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0 operating system.
The handset features a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 primary sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. The smartphone also features a 16-megapixel Sony IMX480 front selfie camera.
The Realme GT 7 features a 7700mm square VC cooling chamber with Graphene ice-sensing double-layer cooling technology for enhanced heat dissipation. The smartphone also has a 7,200mAh battery pack with 100W wired fast charging support.
