The Redmi M100 has launched in China, appearing on the official Xiaomi website. This new smartphone features a 6.9-inch LCD display with a 720x1600 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 825 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 SoC.
The Redmi M100 comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The device houses a 7,900mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. It runs on HyperOS 3, Xiaomi's latest operating system.
The phone measures 170.12 x 78.42 x 8.8 mm and weighs 232 grams. Buyers can choose from three color options: Wilderness Green, Star Rain White, and Deep Night Black. These colors are based on machine-translated names from Chinese.
The Redmi M100 is available in three RAM and storage combinations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. The starting price is CNY 1,999, which is approximately $296 at current exchange rates.
At this time, Redmi has not confirmed if the M100 will be released outside of China. However, the confirmed specifications closely match those rumored for the Poco M8x. This suggests the Poco M8x may be a rebranded Redmi M100 for international markets.
