The Redmi Note 14 SE 5G smartphone has been officially launched in India. On Monday, Xiaomi announced the launch of its latest budget 5G smartphone, the Redmi Note 14 SE, in the budget segment. It is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC and a 5,110 mAh battery, positioning it as one of the best-performing phones in its segment. The Redmi Note 14 SE is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor and has an AMOLED display with up to 2,100 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Note 14 SE has joined the existing Redmi Note 14 series of smartphones, which were launched in December 2024.
The Redmi Note 14 SE price in India is Rs 14,999 for the 6 GB + 128 GB variant. The handset will go on Sale on August 7 via Flipkart, Xiaomi India e-store, and Xiaomi's authorized retail outlets. As part of an early sale offer, customers can claim a discount of up to Rs 1,000 on select bank cards. Redmi Note 14 SE is available in three color options: Crimson Red, Mystique White, and Titan Black.
In India, the Redmi Note 14 SE has been launched with a 6.67-inch FHD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) AMOLED screen, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, a 2,160Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of up to 2,100 nits. Its display supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, making video consumption and multimedia experiences even more immersive. The smartphone's display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage—the device ships with Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0.
For optics, the handset features a triple rear camera setup that comprises a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor along with an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 2-megapixel macro camera. In front, it has a 20-megapixel selfie shooter. The smartphone features dual stereo speakers enhanced by Dolby Audio.
Additionally, it gets a 5,110mAh battery pack with 45W wired fast charging support. It also offers several connectivity options, including 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone has an IP64 rating for dust and water splash resistance. It measures 162.4 x 75.7 x 7.99 mm in size and weighs 190 grams.
