Samsung India has launched its latest 5G smartphone, Galaxy F36 5G, in India at a starting price range of Rs 17,499. This F-series phone from a South Korean smartphone manufacturer is priced under Rs 20,000 and equipped with the Exynos 1380 chipset. The handset has a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a leather-finish rear panel. Samsung has offered three color options and plenty of AI features like Google’s Circle to Search and Gemini Live.

The all-new Galaxy F36 is available in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage options. While the entry-level 6GB +128GB option is priced at Rs 17,499, the higher spec 8GB + 256GB variant costs Rs 18,999. In India, Samsung’s new F-series smartphone will be available for purchase from July 29 at 12 PM through Flipkart and Samsung’s official online store. The device will be sold in three color options, Coral Red, Luxe Violet, and Onyx Black, with all three colorways featuring a leather finish rear panel.

Samsung Galaxy F36 5G Specifications

Samsung Galaxy F36 5G smartphone comes with dual-SIM slots and a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It has a waterdrop notch on the top for the selfie camera and features a vapour chamber for thermal management. The Galaxy F36 sports Samsung’s self-developed octa-core Exynos 1380 SoC paired with Mail-G68 MP5 GPU, up to 8GB RAM, and 256GB onboard storage. There is also a microSD slot available to expand the storage further.

For optics, the phone has a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 sensor that supports OIS and 4K video recording. It also features an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. In the front, it has a 13-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Samsung’s latest smartphone in the Indian market ships with Android-15 15-based One UI 7 and is backed by six generations of Android OS updates and seven years of security patches. Additionally, the Galaxy F36 comes with several AI features like Google’s Circle to Search, Gemini Live, object eraser, image clipper, and AI edit suggest.

The 5G phone from Samsung also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast wired charging support and side side-mounted fingerprint sensor with a USB Type-C port. In terms of connectivity, it has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS + GLONASS. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 164.4x77.9x7.7 mm in size and 197grams in weight.
