Samsung India has announced the official launch date of one of its most anticipated 5G smartphones, the Galaxy F36. The smartphone will be launched in India on July 19 and be a follow-up to the Galaxy F34. It will be exclusively sold via Flipkart and Samsung e-store. As per the official details, the Samsung Galaxy F36 price in India will be under Rs 20,000 and have a premium leather finish on the back panel.
Along with revealing the launch date, the Korean smartphone brand also confirmed some of the specifications details of the Galaxy F36. The device will arrive with a 50-megapixel OIS triple rear camera setup, comprising night photography and AI features for high-quality image and video editing. For AI features, the users can expect the smartphone to have features like AI Eraser, Google Gemini, Text Search, Image Clipper, and more.
It is also said to be 7.7 mm in width, making it a slimmer smartphone than the Galaxy F34, which measures 8.8 mm in thickness. Samsung has confirmed three color options for its upcoming Galaxy F36, while the names are not specified, the Flipkart listing features a red color shade.
Previously, a report stated that the alleged Galaxy F36 appeared on the Google Play Console listing, which revealed the handset to have an FHD+ display, Exynos 1380 processor, 6GB RAM, and an Android 15-based OS.
The Samsung Galaxy F36 is also speculated to have many similar features to the Galaxy M36, including a 6.7-inch sAMOLED display and a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ layer. It could also have an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro unit, along with a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor. The handset will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 25W of fast charging support.
The newly launched Galaxy M36 is priced from Rs 16,999, indicating the Galaxy F36 to be priced in a similar range.
