Samsung is ready to launch two new 5G smartphones in India. The South Korean smartphone brand has revealed the official launch of the upcoming Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G mobiles on social media. These Galaxy series smartphones will be positioned under the brand's value-oriented Galaxy M-series, featuring a refined look and enhanced features.
Both 5G Samsung smartphones were spotted on India's BIS certification website, and M16's support page is also live now; the recent teaser post on Amazon provided further clarification on the arrival and rear design of the smartphone.
The tagline "Can't beat the monsters" and the mention of "coming soon" ensure that Samsung is ready to debut these two 5G mobiles in the Indian market. The teaser image features a sketch design of the rear profile of phones. However, the company has yet to reveal the exact launch date of Galaxy M16 and M06. The teaser images shared on Amazon indicate that customers can shop for these upcoming Samsung mobiles via e-commerce websites.
With the promotion through Amazon posts, the Samsung Galaxy M16 5G smartphone appears to have three rear camera setups placed vertically within a pill-shaped island design. A larger cutout within the modules positions two sensors, while a smaller slot features the third. A circular LED flash unit is also available outside the camera module.
In contrast, the Galaxy M06 5G mobile gets vertical pill-shaped rear camera modules and two sensors. The camera module on the top left corner of the rear panel maintains a similar design asin Galaxy M16, next to the LED flash unit.
Previously, the Galaxy M06 smartphone with the SM-M166P model number appeared on Geekbench, indicating that the mobile will likely be offered with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM. Moreover, it's anticipated to be offered with an Android 14-based One UI 6 OS.
