Samsung's Galaxy S26 phones have got little pricey from the time they are launched. In the US, they now cost $100 more than they did seven months ago. And even at launch, most S26 models were already priced above last year's S25 lineup. The good news is that you can still find lower prices on the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra, especially at Walmart.
Walmart hasn't followed Samsung's price hike. Instead, it's offering discounts across the S26 lineup. Take the S26 Ultra: Samsung now charges $1,400 for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage but Walmart sells that same phone for under $1,000. That's a saving of up to $500.
The Galaxy S26 FE price remains same. The 8GB RAM and 128GB version is still $700, and the 8GB RAM and 256GB version is $800. But for only $40 more than that higher FE model, you can get a Galaxy S26+ with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. You'd get more RAM, a better display, and a faster chipset, which makes it a pretty easy choice.
The regular Galaxy S26 now starts at $1,000. That's a big thing to think about since it means a phone that isn't a Pro or Ultra has crossed into four-digit territory. Walmart's price for the base S26 is $730 so eventually it's a good option to consider. Just be aware that bumping up to 512GB of storage on the S26 costs quite a bit more.
Amazon has gone back to the original launch pricing for the Galaxy S26 series. The 256GB Galaxy S26 is on sale there, but Walmart's price is still lower. Amazon is also expected to kick off a sales event on Tuesday which could bring better offers. You'll need an active Prime subscription to get in on those deals, though a free trial works too.
Samsung's own website is currently taking $150 off the Galaxy S26 Ultra, no trade-in needed. If you do have an old phone to trade, you could get up to $720 in credit. Right now, there are no similar no-trade-in discounts on the Galaxy S26 or S26+.
For now, Walmart has the lowest prices on the Galaxy S26 lineup, with the S26 Ultra marked down by as much as $500. The S26+ is also better value than the S26 FE, since you get noticeably stronger hardware for a small price difference. Amazon and Samsung do have some discounts, but Walmart's deals are the strongest at the moment.
