That's correct, the A73 appears to be the final A7x model ever produced because Samsung won't issue an A74 in 2023, making the Galaxy A54 the flagship of the A series in terms of both market appeal and technical specifications.
There have been leaks of other planned Ax4 phones, but not of the A74, which is purportedly because there is neither an A74 in development nor will there ever be.

This may seem strange, but keep in mind that the Galaxy A73 was already a niche product in Samsung's lineup, having been released in fewer nations than the A72 before it. Therefore, it's possible that the story of the A73 was a premonition of what would surely happen to the A74.
Additionally, there has been no announcement of a Galaxy S22 FE or S23 FE, which leaves a strange (and sizable) price gap between the A54 and the S23 open for Chinese rivals to exploit. To leave oneself open to the competition in that way is at best a dubious strategy, but perhaps Samsung has a plan to cram the S22 in there and sell it for even less? To discover it, we'll have to wait for the S23's debut. Thankfully, it will happen in a few short weeks on February 1, according to current rumours.
