Samsung R&D Institute helps Expands Galaxy AI

Samsung's R&D Institute in Bengaluru, a key hub for Samsung outside Korea, has significantly contributed to expanding Galaxy AI's language capabilities. Collaborating globally, the institute developed AI language models for diverse English variants like British, Indian, and Australian, alongside Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian, enabling Galaxy AI to support 16 languages. For Hindi, the institute meticulously trained AI models on regional dialects, colloquialisms, and transliterated data, partnering with institutions like the Vellore Institute of Technology for extensive linguistic data. These advancements enhance Samsung's AI features such as Live Translate and Interpreter, empowering users with offline language tools and enriched communication experiences.
