The chatbot is based on OpenAI ChatGPT technology, which also underpins Microsoft’s, Bing AI Bard.

Users can do a lot of things with the Snapchat AI, for starters they can customise the name of the AI to their liking and change the chat themes.

Other things that My AI can do include giving you date idea suggestions, gifting ideas, weekend getaway plans or recipes for your favourite dishes among other things.

Unfortunately, this feature is currently only available to Snapchat+ users, which is a subscription model by Snapchat that comes at a cost of 49 rupees a month. Though the capabilities of Snapchat AI are endless, Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel warns us that the AI is currently in its initial stages and can be manipulated into saying just about anything.
