Sony PlayStation Portal: Remote Gaming Device for PS5 Launched in India

Sony has introduced the PlayStation Portal, a remote player for PS5, priced at Rs 18,990. It features an 8-inch FHD LCD display, capable of streaming games at 1080p and 60FPS over Wi-Fi. The device requires a minimum network speed of 5Mbps, with 15Mbps recommended for optimal performance. It includes a built-in DualSense controller, replicating haptic feedback and adaptive triggers from supported games. The PlayStation Portal connects to the PS5 console and streams gameplay, but does not support VR games or cloud streaming. It will be available across various retail channels from August 3.
