Vivo V60 5G smartphone launch in India is officially confirmed by the company. Along with the launch date, Vivo India also revealed the design and color options of the upcoming Vivo smartphone in India. According to official details, Vivo V60 5G will be launched in India on August 12 and will be equipped with several AI features like Google Gemini AI. The Vivo V60 is being considered the successor of the Vivo V50 smartphone launched in India in February 2025.

Vivo V60 5G India Launch: What We Know So Far?

Vivo India will launch Vivo V60 5G in India on August 12 at 12 pm IST, confirmed by the company’s press release. The handset will be available in Auspicious Gold, Mist Grey, and Moonlit Blue colorways. It will also feature a quad-curved display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, and a 6,500mAh battery pack.

In terms of camera features, it is confirmed to sport a Zeiss-backed 50-megapixel telephoto shooter with 10x zoom support. The camera unit will also support multifocal portrait modes and a triple rear camera setup.

The Chinese smartphone brand has also confirmed to offer Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15 as well as a range of AI features, including Gemini Live, AI Captions, and AI Smart Call Assist. Vivo V60 5G phone is said to have IP68 and IP69 certification for dust and water resistance.

Previously, an industry leak claimed that the upcoming Vivo V60 smartphone could sport a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness. There will be a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, while a 50-megapixel camera is in front.

The smartphone is likely to support 90W wired fast charging and an in-display fingerprint sensor for user security. There could also be dual stereo speakers for a better multimedia experience.
