Vivo has announced the global rollout of its Vivo X200 series, set to launch soon in Malaysia, followed by a debut in India by the end of November or early December 2024. After its October release in China, the new series is expected to bring high-end features such as MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC and Zeiss-branded triple rear cameras to global markets.
The Vivo X200 series will include three models: Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro, and Vivo X200 Pro Mini. All three smartphones will feature MediaTek's powerful Dimensity 9400 chipset, delivering fast performance and efficient power usage. Additionally, each model boasts a Zeiss co-engineered triple camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor for excellent photography.
The phones also include a 90W wired fast charging system and large batteries, with the Pro versions offering slightly larger capacities. Here’s a quick comparison of the models:
| Model | Battery Capacity | Charging Support | Storage Options | Main Camera |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vivo X200 | 5,800mAh | 90W | 12GB + 256GB | 50MP Triple Camera |
| Vivo X200 Pro | 6,000mAh | 90W | 12GB + 256GB | 50MP Triple Camera |
| Vivo X200 Pro Mini | 5,800mAh | 90W | 12GB + 256GB | 50MP Triple Camera |
The X200 series is focused on photography, thanks to the Zeiss partnership. Users can expect improved color accuracy, detailed shots, and great low-light performance. The triple-camera system on all models includes a 50MP main sensor, backed by two additional lenses. The series runs on Vivo's Origin OS 5, which provides a smooth, customizable user interface based on Android.
In China, the Vivo X200 started at CNY 4,300 (around ₹51,000) for the base model. Global prices are expected to be similar, though exact pricing for markets outside China has yet to be confirmed.
While Vivo has not revealed the exact date, the series is expected to launch in Malaysia soon. Following this, the lineup is rumored to be available in India by late November or early December 2024.
The Vivo X200 series is set to bring flagship features such as high-end performance, Zeiss-enhanced cameras, and rapid charging to global markets. As the series prepares to launch in Malaysia and India, it promises to be a competitive option for users seeking a premium smartphone experience at a reasonable price.
