WhatsApp Status now allows users to share longer stories with 1-minute voice notes

WhatsApp is expanding its Status function to allow users to exchange voice notes up to one minute long, up from the previous 30-second restriction. This update is being rolled out to Android and iOS users. Sharing longer voice notes allows users to share more complex views, tales, or even updates that require more detail. This upgrade adds the newly announced functionality, which gives users more control over who sees their Status updates.
