WhatsApp to Introduce Voice Message Transcribing Feature for Android

WhatsApp's "Voice message transcripts" feature, available on iOS since last year, is now being tested for Android in beta version 2.24.15.5. This feature allows users to read transcriptions of voice messages, aiding those with hearing impairments. Currently, beta testers can enable the feature by downloading additional language data packages, including Hindi, English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), and Russian. The feature's widespread release date remains unknown. Additionally, WhatsApp is working on AI-powered features for creating stickers and editing photos, which are also in the testing phase and expected in future updates.
