WhatsApp: Voice Notes Get Text Transcription (Hindi & English!)

WhatsApp is testing a function that translates audio notes to text, which is presently available to a small number of beta users. This allows users to read the contents of voice notes rather than play them aloud. To preserve privacy, transcription is done immediately on the device and requires a language pack (Hindi and English). The feature is expected to be rolled out to more users soon.
