The Pixel Fold features a sleek metal frame with a fingerprint scanner on the side and a glass cover on the back. Its outer display has a punch-hole cut-out at the top and a selfie camera near the bezels on the inside. On the other hand, Samsung's foldable phone sports an aluminum frame. Both devices come with IPX8 water resistance, ensuring protection against water damage.
Google's foldable phone boasts a 7.6-inch high-quality OLED display that can be folded to reveal a 5.8-inch Full HD Plus screen. Both screens support HDR and have a refresh rate of 120Hz. Similarly, the Samsung Z Fold 4 features a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a cover screen size of 6.2 inches when folded. Both displays also support a 120Hz refresh rate.
The camera setup is a notable feature of smartphones. The Pixel Fold is equipped with a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 48-megapixel main camera, two ultra-wide cameras, and a 10.8MP telephoto camera. It also features an 8.3MP selfie camera and an 8.3MP camera on the inside. On the other hand, the Samsung Z Fold 4 offers a 50MP primary camera, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. It also includes a 4-megapixel camera inside the display and a 10MP camera on the cover.

The Pixel Fold is powered by the Tensor G2 processor, accompanied by 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. In contrast, the Samsung Z Fold 4 features the Snapdragon 8+ Generation 1 chipset, with options for 12GB of RAM and either 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage. Both devices run on Android 13. The Google phone packs a 4,821mAh battery, while the Samsung phone comes with a 4,400mAh battery. Both phones support wired and wireless charging.

Currently available in the US, the Pixel Fold starts at $1,799 (approximately Rs 1.47 lakh). On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is priced at $1,919 (approximately Rs 1.57 lakh) and is also available in India. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphone offers a more comprehensive package compared to the Google Pixel Fold.
