The Chinese smartphone brand is also working on unveiling its Xiaomi 14 series. Many reports speculate that this will be launched in China in Q4 of 2023. Digital Chat Station, one of the popular smartphone tipsters, has leaked the expected specifications and schematics of this upcoming Xiaomi smartphone. A recently shared Weibo post by Digital Chat Station hints at the camera and storage details of Xiaomi 14 series smartphones.
According to Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Xiaomi 14 mobile sports a 50-megapixel primary camera. The tipster claims to have 1/1.28" camera sensors than the 50-megapixel 1/1.49 of Xiaomi 13. It also mentions that the primary camera may be coupled with a telephoto sensor with a 3.9x optical zoom and 90mm focal length.
This upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi can feature an ultra-narrow bezel on display and up to 1TB internal storage option. The previously launched Xiaomi 13 smartphones have up to 512GB of storage capacity. The shared image reveals that the mobile phone can have a punch hole in the center and a slit on top to place a microphone.
Xiaomi can retain a similar camera module on the rear side as in the Xiaomi 13 series. This mobile brand probably selected this design to accommodate rumored WLG high-lens sensors. It may feature a 4,860mAh battery pack compatible with 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Slight information about these upcoming smartphones from Xiaomi was listed on the IMEI database. The smartphones have model numbers 23127PB0CC and 23127PN0CG, indicating Chinese and global units. Further, the smartphone may get power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen 3 SoC.
