The launch of the Poco M4 Pro 5G in India will be held on February 15. The news was spread by Poco India through its various social media handles. The Chinese brand has posted a short video revealing the date of the smartphone’s India launch. However, Poco has not shared any specific event details. The smartphone has already been teased by the company multiple times by highlighting the number “4” in various tweets on the company's handle. Poco M4 Pro 5G has already launched in worldwide global markets in November. The phone is rebranded Redmi Note 11 5G that was launched in China in October.
In a tweet from Poco India’s Twitter handle, the company has shared a brief video sharing the launch details of the Poco M4 Pro 5G phone. The same clip is shared on Poco India’s YouTube, Facebook and Instagram handle. The video didn't cover any information about its live streaming. It may very well be possible that the company will do a soft launch without any virtual launch event due to the fact that the smartphone has already been launched in various markets.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G cost in Europe is different for the two variants released by the company. The Price was set at EUR 229 (generally around Rs. 19,500) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and EUR 249 (generally Rs. 21,200) for the 6GB + 128GB storage variant. It is expected to be available in Cool Blue, Poco Yellow, and Power Black color tones. The Poco M4 Pro 5G price in India is expected to be somewhere around Rs. 20,000 which is somewhat in a similar range.
As mentioned already, the global launch for Poco M4 Pro 5G occurred in November and this smartphone is a rebranded Redmi Note 11 5G that was launched in China in October. Poco M4 Pro 5G works on Android 11 along with MIUI 12.5 for Poco on top. The mobile has a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Dot Display with a 90Hz refresh rate. M4 Pro gets a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC under the hood, alongside that it has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. But still, there is no data on the RAM and storage variants that will be launched in India.
For better quality for photography, Poco M4 Pro 5G comes with a double back camera arrangement that is headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. There is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter with a lens of 119-degree. On the front of the mobile, you can find a 16-megapixel camera for selfie. The smartphone is loaded with a 5,000mAh battery with 33W Pro quick charging.
Connectivity-wise, the smartphone supports both 5G and 4G VoLTE networks along with Wi-Fi (802.11) and b/g/n. It uses a USB Type-C charger for charging. It also supports Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v5.0, and A-GPS.
