With significant improvements in design specifically for Indian users, Realme is getting ready to release its newest product, the Realme 12x 5G, on the Indian market. With relatively low specs when it was first released in China, the Indian version is expected to have major improvements, especially in terms of extra functions and charging capabilities.

Realme 12x

Notable Features:

  • Improved Charging: The Realme 12x 5G in India will have a potent 5,000mAh battery along with 45W SUPERVOOC charging capabilities, which is a significant upgrade over the 15W charging capacity of its Chinese cousin. With this improvement, customers may charge their batteries quickly and get to 50% capacity in only 30 minutes. The gadget will also be able to allow reverse charging.

  • Dynamic Button: The 12x 5G will include a special "Dynamic Button" that can be customized to act as a shortcut for several purposes, much like its brother, the Realme 12. Do Not Disturb (DND) mode, Airplane mode, and certain camera settings like Street Photography and Google Smart Lens, among others, may be easily accessed by users. You may customize the Dynamic Button to fit your own tastes.

Details of Launch:

  • Industry sources indicate that Realme will soon start hinting at the release of the Realme 12x 5G in India, even though an official launch date has not yet been announced. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has certified the gadget already, indicating that a release is likely to happen soon.

Expected Specifications:

  • It is projected that the Realme 12x 5G will have a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a peak brightness of 625 nits and a smooth refresh rate of 120Hz. It will include a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ CPU and Mali G57 GPU under the hood, providing strong performance for both daily use and gaming.

  • Memory configurations should come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, which may be increased with a microSD card.

  • The device's camera setup is probably going to have an 8MP front camera for taking selfies in addition to a 50MP main camera with extra sensors. It will ship with the most recent version of Realme UI 5.0, which is based on Android 14, providing a snappy and easy-to-use interface.
