So, starting with the first news of the week, Perplexity has officially launched Comet, its all-new AI-powered browser, in India.This all-new browser will be available for Android users on September 22nd, 2025, but there has been no word on when it will be available for iOS users. This browser will be promoted as an AI-powered browser that will change the way people use the internet. with an integrated AI feature that makes your workflow more efficient and fluent. The use of this all-new browser is only available to pro model subscribers.
The second piece of news that made headlines this week was MediaTek's official release of their all-new Dimensitt 9500 processor, a flagship chipset built on TSMC's 3nm node for top-tier performance. while featuring an all-big-core setup with Arm Mali-G1 Ultra GPU and advanced ray tracing. With another upgraded feature, this all-new flagship processor will make its debut first in the Vivo X300 processor, followed by other devices.
So, this week, Perplexity made another headline by launching their AI-powered email assistance, a brand-new AI tool that helps you manage your email inbox to outbox. This tool will manage all of your email-related activities. This tool is available for both Gmail and Outlook. Although this tool works on automation, it also requires your permission. People with heavy email workflows will benefit more from this tool. Apart from that, perpleixy email assistance is only available to users on the Max plan.
As we progress through the list, we come across some tech gadget launches. This week, DJI released its Osmo Nano, its smallest 4k action camera in the lineup, which weighs only 52 grams but offers amazing video quality and a slew of features that do not match its size. This camera with a 1/1.3" sensor offers 4k/60 fps recording and 120 fps slow motion for a price of 279 euro (approximately ₹29,181 in Indian rupees).
So, this week, Xiaomi unveiled its all-new flagship device, the 15T Pro, which is both new and amazing in the T series. If we look at the overall specifications of this new smartphone, it is powered by the MediaTek 9400+ processor and up to 12GB of lpddr5X RAM. It features a 6.83-inch display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. These are pretty amazing features. If we talk about the camera, this smartphone has a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide with a 32MP front camera. When all of these features come together, this smartphone becomes a flagship device.
Finally, this news comes straight from Tokyo, Japan, at the Tokyo game event where Xbox launched Forza Horizon 6. The game is set in Japan, and the teaser features some of the most iconic Japanese elements, including Mount Fuji, Tokyo skyscrapers, and neon-lit city scenes. Although the exact launch date, detailed map, and car lineup are unknown. According to the updates, this will be available first on Xbox and PC. The PlayStation 5 version is still in development.
