Xiaomi Launches Three New Power Banks in India: Features, Pricing, and Key Details

Xiaomi just gave its power bank lineup in India a proper refresh, rolling out three new models that lean hard into two things Indian buyers seem to want most right now: magnetic wireless convenience and serious fast-charging muscle. The new trio - the UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000, the Magnetic Power Bank 10000, and the Power Bank 20000 165W  cover everything from a slip-in-your-pocket companion to a laptop-charging workhorse.

Safety First

Before any of these reached shelves, Xiaomi put them through the usual battery of torture tests - nail penetration, compression, a hot box test, and overcharge checks. All three come wrapped in flame-retardant casing and guard against overcharging on both the way in and the way out. They're also flight-safe, and notably, even the smallest 5,000mAh model can still charge more than one device at once ,small but useful detail for anyone juggling a phone and a pair of earbuds on the go.

This one's all about disappearing into your pocket. At just 6mm thick and 98 grams, it's built for people who want backup power without the bulk. It snaps onto compatible phones magnetically, charges wirelessly at up to 15W, and offers 22.5W wired charging over USB-C for when you need a quicker top-up. Four small LEDs keep you posted on battery level, and a multifunction button lets you toggle between charging modes  including a low-power setting for smaller accessories like smartwatches or fitness bands. With 5,000mAh on tap, it's realistically good for a day or two of light-to-moderate use. It comes in three colourways: Radiant Orange, Glacier Silver, and Graphite Black.

2. Magnetic Power Bank 10000

Step up to double the capacity and you get the Magnetic Power Bank 10000, which pairs a bigger battery with noticeably faster charging. It supports the newer Qi2.2 wireless standard at up to 25W, backed by a 13N magnetic attachment that should feel more secure than a standard MagSafe-style grip. On the wired side, it has a built-in USB-C cable plus a separate USB-C port, and each can individually handle up to 45W though worth knowing, if you're using both at once, combined output tops out at 15W rather than 45W apiece. It's finished in a soft-touch silicone shell and comes in White or Black. Wireless charging switches off by default whenever you're charging via cable, but a quick press of the button turns it back on. Four LEDs handle the battery readout here too.

3. Power Bank 20000 165W

This is the one for people who need real power on the move, think laptops, not just phones. The Power Bank 20000 165W can send up to 120W to one device while simultaneously feeding another at 45W, so charging a laptop and a phone together isn't a problem. It's built with two USB-C ports (one of them via a permanently attached cable) and a USB-A port for good measure, plus a small onboard display that shows remaining charge and current charging speed. Xiaomi's also thrown in a braided cable for durability and a low-power mode for smaller gadgets. At 20,000mAh, this is clearly meant for longer trips or days spent away from a wall socket.

The UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 comes in at Rs 5,599 for now, part of a limited-period offer against its usual Rs 5,999 MRP. The Magnetic Power Bank 10000 is priced at Rs 3,699 (MRP Rs 3,999), and the Power Bank 20000 165W rounds things out at Rs 4,999 (MRP Rs 5,499).
