The feature that makes the Virat Curve stand out is the Mini Display on the back of the phone.
The small screen is placed inside the rear camera module and can show information such as the time, battery percentage, volume level, notifications, emojis, custom messages and music controls.
It is a practical addition rather than just a design element. Users can glance at selected information without relying entirely on the main display.
The phone also gets a vegan-leather rear finish, giving it a different look from many conventional mid-range smartphones.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset and comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The processor is built on a 6nm process and supports 5G connectivity.
This hardware is aimed at everyday users who want smooth performance for social media, streaming, browsing, multitasking and regular gaming.
However, real-world gaming performance, heating and sustained performance should be judged after the phone becomes available for hands-on testing.

For photography, the Lava Virat Curve 5G features a 50MP Sony IMX752 primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture.
The main camera can record video at up to 2K resolution at 30fps. The phone also has an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Rather than using several low-resolution rear cameras, Lava appears to be focusing on the main 50MP sensor as the primary photography camera.

The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging.
The large battery should be useful for users who spend long hours watching videos, browsing, using social media or playing games. Actual battery life will naturally depend on network conditions, brightness and usage patterns.
The Lava Virat Curve 5G will run Android 16.
Lava has also stated that the phone will receive two years of OS updates and three years of security updates. The phone is positioned around a relatively clean Android experience, with Lava also highlighting its Vayu AI assistant.
The main features to know about the Lava Virat Curve 5G are:
6.67-inch curved AMOLED display
120Hz refresh rate
MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset
6GB RAM and 128GB storage
50MP Sony IMX752 rear camera
8MP front camera
6,000mAh battery
45W fast charging
Rear Mini Display
Vegan-leather rear design
Android 16
5G connectivity
IP64 rating
The curved AMOLED display, large battery and rear Mini Display are the three features that give the Virat Curve its identity in the mid-range smartphone market.
The Lava Virat Curve 5G is clearly designed to stand out through its design rather than simply competing on specifications.
The 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display, 50MP Sony camera, Dimensity 7100 processor and 6,000mAh battery give it a solid hardware package, while the rear Mini Display adds something different.
The biggest unanswered question is still the price. Since third-party sources currently show different expected prices, the official launch price will be important when comparing the phone with other 5G smartphones.
