Samsung Galaxy Glasses Leak: Specs, Pricing, and Gemini AI Features.
Leaked renders reveal Samsung's "Jinju" smart glasses. Featuring a Snapdragon AR1 chip, 12MP camera, and Google Gemini AI. First look at design and 2026 launch details.

Newly leaked images provide the clearest look yet at Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Glasses. The images show the device from three different angles, revealing key design features. Alongside the images, new information about specifications and pricing has emerged.

Key Highlights

  • Leaked images show Samsung Galaxy Glasses from three angles with key design details.
  • First-generation model expected to cost between $379 and $499 and lacks a display.
  • Second-generation Galaxy Glasses with display expected in 2027 for $600 to $900.

Key Specifications and Features

The first-generation Galaxy Glasses will not include a display. However, Samsung plans to add a screen in the second generation, codenamed Haean, expected in 2027. The second-generation model is rumored to cost between $600 and $900.

The initial Galaxy Glasses are expected to compete directly with Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses. Unlike Meta's product, Samsung's glasses will run on Android XR and feature built-in Gemini, Google's AI assistant. More details about Android XR are expected at Google I/O next month.

Samsung is collaborating with eyewear brands Warby Parker and Gentle Monster to design the frames. The Galaxy Glasses will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon AR1 chipset, which supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The device will feature a 155 mAh battery and a 12MP camera powered by the Sony IMX681 sensor. Additional features include directional speakers and an approximate weight of 50 grams.

Launch Timeline and Pricing

The Galaxy Glasses are rumored to launch at Samsung's summer Unpacked event, likely scheduled for July. This event is also expected to introduce the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8, and Galaxy Z Fold Wide. The first-generation Galaxy Glasses are expected to be priced between $379 and $499.

Samsung's entry into the smart glasses market signals increased competition, especially against Meta's Ray-Ban offering. The integration of Android XR and Gemini could differentiate Samsung's product in the wearable technology sector.
