Motorola has introduced the Moto G77 Power in India, expanding its G Power series. The new model features a 7,000mAh battery, 120Hz LCD display, and a 50MP main camera. It launches on July 13, priced at ₹26,000 ($270) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.
The Moto G77 Power stands out with its 7,000mAh battery, matching other G Power models in capacity. It supports 30W TurboPower charging and 6W reverse charging. The device uses the same chipset as the G37 Power, paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Users can expand storage up to 1TB with a microSD card, a feature not found in the G57 Power or G67 Power.
The phone runs Android 16 out of the box and will receive one OS update to Android 17, along with three years of security patches. The 6.72-inch LCD display offers a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is 8-bit and reaches up to 1,050 nits in high brightness mode. The fingerprint reader is side-mounted for convenience.
The Moto G77 Power features a 32MP front camera, which is also found on the G67 Power, while other models have 8MP selfie cameras. The rear setup includes a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 main sensor with PDAF and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view. All cameras record 1080p video, but only the main camera supports 60fps recording.
The phone retains a 3.5mm headphone jack with Hi-Res Audio certification and FM radio support. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos enhance the audio experience. The USB-C port supports USB 2.0 data speeds.
The Moto G77 Power supports 5G with sub-6GHz connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (ac), and Bluetooth 5.4. NFC is not included. The device is rated IP64 for dust and water resistance and has passed MIL-STD-810H testing. Gorilla Glass 7i protects the display. The phone measures 8.9mm in thickness and weighs 215g.
The Moto G77 Power will be available in a single 8GB/128GB configuration for ₹26,000 ($270). For comparison, the G37 Power with the same memory sells for ₹20,000. The G77 Power will also be sold through offline retail stores in India.
Buyers can choose from four Pantone color options: Impenetrable (Gray), Nautical Blue, Fuchsia Red, and Laurel Green.
