Key Specifications and Features

The Galaxy M47 shares many features with the Galaxy A27. It sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. A 12MP front-facing camera sits in a punch-hole cutout at the top of the display.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. Users can choose between 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera.

Software and Update Commitment

The Galaxy M47 runs on One UI 8.5, which is based on Android 16. Samsung promises six years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates for this device. This commitment aims to provide long-term software support for users.

Design, Price, and Availability

The Galaxy M47 is available in two color options: Rogue Red and Blaze Blue. The device is priced at $243 (approximately €214). Open sales will begin on July 4. Samsung will offer the device through its official channels in India.
