Several major smartphone launches are scheduled for India in May 2026, following a busy April that saw new devices across all price segments. Brands such as OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo, and Redmi are introducing both budget and flagship models, with some devices making their global debut.
The OnePlus Nord CE 6 will launch in India on May 7. It features a 6.78-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and includes an 8,000mAh battery. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging. The Nord CE 6 offers multiple IP ratings, including IP66, IP68, and IP69, along with IP69K protection. The device meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards. Available colours are Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black.
Launching alongside is the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite, also on May 7. It comes in black and light green. The smartphone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and has a 7,000mAh battery. Its display also supports a 144Hz refresh rate. More details about pricing and specifications will be announced at launch.
The Vivo X300 Ultra, unveiled in China on March 30, will launch in India on May 7. It features a 6.82-inch screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a 6,600mAh battery. It supports 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. The camera system includes a triple ZEISS Master setup with a 200MP main sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with gimbal stabilisation, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. The front camera is 50MP. Colour options are Victory Green and Eclipse Black.
The Vivo X300 FE will also launch on May 7 in India, featuring an exclusive green colour. It has a 6.31-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. Its triple ZEISS camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP periscope zoom lens. The front camera is 50MP.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra launched in China on April 21 and will arrive in India in May. It features a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a 7,050mAh battery, supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The camera system, developed with Hasselblad, includes a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 200MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-telephoto camera with up to 10x optical and 120x digital zoom. The front camera is 50MP.
The Oppo Find X9s will launch in India alongside the X9 Ultra. It features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset and a 7,025mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W fast charging. The triple rear camera setup includes three 50MP sensors: a primary, an ultrawide, and a 3x periscope telephoto camera. The front camera is 32MP.
Other notable launches in April included the Redmi Note 15 SE, Ai+ Nova 2 series, Vivo T5 Pro, Vivo V70 FE, OnePlus Nord 6, and Realme 16 5G. Some of these models are expected to expand to global markets soon.
