Iconia Duo S14 Features

The Iconia Duo S14 stands as the flagship model in the new series. It features a 14.2-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,840 pixels. The screen uses a 3:2 aspect ratio, which is well-suited for productivity tasks. Powering the S14 is a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. Internal storage reaches up to 256GB, and users can expand storage via a microSD card up to 1TB.

The S14 includes a two-way DisplayPort and two USB-C ports, allowing the tablet to function as an external display. It also features a quad-speaker setup for audio, supports 20W USB Power Delivery charging, and houses a 10,000 mAh battery for extended use.

Iconia Duo S12 and D12 Details

The Iconia Duo S12 is positioned below the S14 but retains an OLED display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate. The S12's display measures 12.2 inches. It includes a single USB-C port and an 8,000 mAh battery. The device runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, which is less powerful than the S14's chipset.

The Iconia Duo D12 serves as the budget option in the lineup. It also has a 12.2-inch screen but uses an LCD panel with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,600 pixels. The D12 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and comes with 8GB of RAM. Despite its lower price point, the D12 features the same 8,000 mAh battery as the S12.

Availability and Launch Timeline

Acer plans to launch the new Iconia Duo tablets in North America first. The Iconia Duo S12 and D12 will be available starting in August. The flagship S14 model will arrive later in September.
