Ai+, an Indian technology brand, has introduced three new smartphones at a major launch event. The lineup includes the Nova Flip, the brand’s first foldable phone, and two conventional models, Nova 2 and Nova 2 Ultra. The Nova Flip uses a flip-style foldable design and is powered by nxtQ OS based on Android 15. Nova 2 and Nova 2 Ultra offer large batteries, 5G connectivity, and high-resolution cameras.
The Nova Flip is Ai+’s first foldable phone and features a flip-style design. It closely matches the specifications of the nubia Flip 2, except for its software. The device runs nxtQ OS based on Android 15. The Nova Flip has a 6.9-inch foldable OLED main display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300X chipset and includes a 4,325mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
The phone also features a 3-inch OLED cover screen for quick notifications and controls. The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 32MP front-facing camera. The Nova Flip is available in Glacier White and will be sold through partnering retailers in India starting in May.
The Nova 2 features a 6.74-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Unisoc T8200 chipset and comes with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Storage options include 64GB or 128GB, with expansion possible via a dual SIM slot that accepts a microSD card. The main camera is 50MP with an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by an auxiliary sensor. The device runs nxtQ OS based on Android 16 and has a 6,000mAh battery with 18W charging. Additional features include IP64 ingress protection, a headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Nova 2 is available in purple, green, pink, blue, and black. Open sales in India begin on April 14.
The Nova 2 Ultra offers a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach up to 2,500 nits peak brightness. It features a 13MP front camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone uses the Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The rear camera system includes a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX752 sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The device runs nxtQ OS based on Android 16 and has a 6,000mAh battery with 33W wired charging. It also provides IP68 ingress protection. Nova 2 Ultra is available in blue, green, purple, black, and red, with sales starting in India on April 17.
