​Motorola has launched the Moto G Max in Brazil, offering the device through its Brazilian online store for BRL 2,519.10, which is about $488. The Moto G Max is essentially the same device previously released in other markets under a different name. The company has not clarified if it will use the Moto G Max branding outside Brazil or continue with the G87 name elsewhere.

The Moto G Max features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches a peak brightness of 5,000 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 system-on-chip, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

On the rear, the Moto G Max includes a 200MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), along with an 8MP ultrawide camera. The front houses a 32MP camera for selfies. The smartphone is equipped with a 5,200 mAh battery that supports 33W fast wired charging.
