The Redmi R70 and R70m are powered by the Unisoc T8300 chipset. Both phones use LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage technology. The rear camera has a 13MP sensor, while the front camera offers 8MP resolution. The R70 includes a 6,000 mAh battery, supporting 15W wired charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging. The R70m differs by offering a slightly larger 6,300 mAh battery, while maintaining the same charging capabilities.
Both models are available in black, white, blue, and purple color options. The R70 is offered in four RAM and storage variants: 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, 6GB/256GB, and 8GB/256GB. The R70m comes in 6GB/128GB, 6GB/256GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB versions.
The Redmi R70 starts at CNY 1,599, which is approximately $234. The R70m starts at CNY 1,799, or about $263. Both devices are currently available only in China. There is no information yet on whether Redmi will release these models internationally.
Redmi aims to provide users with a choice between two battery capacities while keeping other specifications consistent. The multiple RAM and storage options allow buyers to select a model that fits their needs and budget.
