Realme P3 Lite 5G: An Affordable 5G

So, starting with the first news of the week, Realme has launched its all-new P3 lite 5G in the Indian mobile market, which is a complete value-for-money mobile that offers some unexpected features at an affordable price. This model has a 6.7-inch HD+ 120 Hz display, a good-performing processor (Dimensity 6300), and a large 6000 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging. This new mobile launch is notable for its build quality and features, which include military-grade shock resistance and IP64 water resistance. While all of these features are reasonably priced, sales begin on September 22.

The second piece of news that made headlines this week was that the Pune-based company Infotek software, also known as i-Tek, has opened a new experience center called Panchajanya Experience Center to commemorate its 25th anniversary in the industry. While the Union Minister Nitin Gadkari attended the event and praised the idea of opening this center, he also shed light on the use of RFID and IoT technologies, stating that they are no longer optional.

Nothing raises Series C funding for AI devices

So this week, the London-based tech startup Nothing, which is well-known for its amazing and fresh designs, raised $200 million in series C funding led by Tiger Global, a well-known and famous investing firm, while other companies participating in this round include Google Ventures, Highland Europe, Qualcomm Ventures, and the notable Indian investor Nikhik Kmath. Although this round raises the company's valuation to $1.3 billion. According to the company's founder, Carl Pei, they will use this new funding to develop new devices known as AI-driven devices, which will be advanced and different from the AI technology we use today. They also state that these products will not replace smartphones but rather provide a new way of using them.

As we progress through the list, we arrive at Meta, where its Ray-Ban Display smart glasses are expected to be released before the Meta Connect 2025 event, which will make a significant splash in the media. While this launch is going to be a collaboration between Essilor and Luxottica, these glasses will be a perfect combination of technology and style. While wearing these glasses, I was also shown the sEMG wristband, which will be an alternative to smartwatches because it will showcase some amazing features in a sleek and light design and allow you to control everything from your wrist. Although all of this is only expected based on reports, the official launch is scheduled for Meta Connect 2025.

YouTube introduced new AI tools at Made on YouTube 2025

So this week, YouTube hosted an event called Made on YouTube 2025, in which they introduced some new features aimed at short film creators and designed to assist them. These are two sets of tools introduced, one for shorts creators and another for podcasters. The features introduced for shorts creators include quick editing and AI image or background generation, which help them a lot. On the other hand, these tools help podcasters create shorts from their large interviews. While these features have only recently become available to creators in the UK and US, the feature for podcasters is still in the works.

Finally, Google Gemini is now available in Chrome for Windows and MacOS users, as well as a free version with some amazing features that make your work easier and even more interesting. Google Gemini introduced features such as multi-tab summarization and tab recalling, and it now integrates more closely with Google applications. While they are promised to bring some agentic features that would allow them to book and do other things on their own, with proper security and permission, Google Nano is now in use for a more secure environment.
