Fibre Basic Plan
Internet speeds of up to 75 megabits per second are provided via the Fibre Basic over-the-top (OTT) package, which costs Rs 599 per month. With a hefty fair use policy (FUP) of 4,000GB per month, it offers a lot of flexibility. Users may continue to access unrestricted internet even after they have reached the FUP limit; however, for the balance of the billing period, they will be able to access the internet at a slower speed of up to 4 Mbps. In addition, customers to this plan are entitled to unlimited calling to any network inside India and are also given a free membership to the Disney+ Hotstar Super plan.
Fibre Basic Super Plan
On the other hand, the Fibre Basic Super plan, which can be purchased for Rs 699 a month, provides internet speeds that are up to 125 Mbps quicker than the standard plan. It comes with a monthly FUP restriction of 4,000 GB, which is comparable to the Fibre Basic OTT plan limitation. Users will be able to continue to take advantage of unrestricted internet access for the duration of the month, but at a slower pace of up to 8 megabits per second after this restriction has been met. Additionally, this plan provides limitless calling privileges to any network in the United States of America without any restrictions. In addition, customers have the option to activate over-the-top (OTT) services by purchasing add-on packs.
Both plans provide interested customers the opportunity to purchase a static IP address at a cost of Rs 3,000 per year for one static IPv4/6 address, subject to the practicality and policy of BSNL. This is a feature that stands out among the other features of both plans. With these new plans, BSNL is able to extend its reach throughout the nation wherever its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) services are available. These plans are available to both new and current customers.

Existing Plan Discontination
In connection with the introduction of these new plans, BSNL has carried out modifications to the broadband services that it now provides. There have been many Bharat Fibre plans that have been discontinued, and customers who are presently enrolled to these plans will be automatically converted to the new plans that have been released. Since the first of April in 2024, these modifications are scheduled to go into effect.
Conclusion
The launch of these new broadband plans demonstrates BSNL's dedication to meeting the needs of its customers all throughout India by delivering internet services that are not only inexpensive but also packed with a variety of features. Because of their increased data limits, quicker speeds, and additional perks like as over-the-top (OTT) subscriptions, these plans are well positioned to attract household and business customers who are looking for broadband solutions that are dependable and provide good value for their money.
